Dan & Micki Simken, a husband and wife team, have been photographing children and families for more than 28 years. Their beautiful award winning style of photography and attention to detail is recognized across the country and widely sought after throughout Georgia and the southeast.
Dan has achieved the prestigious distinction of becoming a Certified Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), one of only 30 in the entire state. As a past President and current Chairman of the Board of the Georgia Professional Photographers of America (GPPA), Dan is dedicated to fostering the education of other photographers both professional and hobbiest alike.
In 2007, Dan & Micki received National accreditation as both photographers and instructors with Special Kids Photography Association (SKPA). SKPA was formed to educate photographers in how to photograph children and young adults that have special needs and/or disabilities. This is something Dan & Micki have been doing for 30 years.

A Word About Copyright Law. . .
The copyright act protects photographers by giving the author of the photograph the exclusive right to reproduce your photographs. This includes the right to control the making of copies. It is illegal to copy or reproduce photographs without written permission and violators of the federal law will be subject to it's civil and criminal penalties.
Please don't harm our reputation, by having poor quality copies made of my hard work!
A copy is never as good as the original, and when you hand out a cheap copy, you damage our hard earned reputation and deprive us of our livelihood. We have to provide food, clothing and shelter for our families, just as you do. You came to our studio because you wanted the best. We have given of ourselves, our talent and time to make beautiful memories for you and your family. Please allow us to make any additional copies you would like. Our family thanks you.
